2017 Lexington Jr. League Charity Horse Show Poster
I am honored and thrilled that the Lexington Jr. League has chosen one of my paintings to
use for their poster during the 2017 Charity Horse Show. This poster features a beautiful
saddlebred owned by Ashely Bolender and Jason Kornaker. His name is A Gypsy’s Face aka
Spider-Man. This beautiful park gelding is currently at Wind Blu farm being trained by Reese
Richey. I feel extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to paint this gorgeous
creature and then to have him become the poster for the 2017 show is truly an honor. Posters
of this beautiful creature, known as Spider-Man, will be available and for sale during the show at
the Jr. League Booth. The show runs from July 3-8 at the Red Mile in Lexington, KY. I will also
have a booth, “Fine Art by Kathy Wood”, featuring many original paintings and prints, all of
which are available for purchase. Many other venders will be selling their merchandise as well.
It is truly an amazing week packed full of beautiful horses, abundant shopping, delicious food,
and your favorite beverage. I hope each of you can make it to the Red Mile, July 3-8, for this
exciting show. This is one event that you don’t want to miss!
