Something New is Waiting for You!
I hope you will take a look in the gallery because something new is waiting for you! Two additions have been made. These newly added prints were painted knowing that they would become companion pieces with the humming bird and thistle print titled “ Thistle Way” that has been shown in the gallery previously.
In all three paintings my favorite parts are the lost and found edges. These are achieved in watercolor by putting in color and then taking it back out. It creates a very soft edge and in some cases, none at all. When I paint this way I also like to include some sections that are very crisp and easily noticed. This variation makes an interesting painting.
The originals were completed in watercolor using the same color palette. I wanted to be able to hang them in my home as a group. If you are looking for a group of paintings to hang in one particular location these prints may be just what you are looking for!
